Joseph Robert Manuel

May 10, 1943 — June 15, 2018

Mr. J. Robert Manuel, III went home to be with the Lord Jesus on June 15, 2018. Bob was born in Baltimore, Md. the son of the late Dr. J. Robert Manuel, Jr. and the late Carnell Chinlund. He is survived by his wife, The Rev. Linda Manuel, of Ft. Mill, S.C. Their son, J. Robert Manuel, IV., wife Maggie, and grand-daughters, Katherine Ann and Elizabeth Hope live in the Sewickley, Pa area. Son Timothy Andrew Manuel, wife Hope and their sons, Joshua, Adam and Ryan, are in Charlotte. His sister, Carnell Boyle, and her husband, John live in Southern Shores, N.C.. His brother, Gregory Manuel, wife Jessie, and his children Ashley and Michael, are from the Baltimore area.

Bob attended Gilman School, City, and graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park. Bob worked 40 years for Westinghouse and Eaton Corp. His job as an International Marketing Manager was one he loved. He treasured meeting new people and travelling the world. He developed a love for International Missions and told people about Jesus whenever he could. He loved his family and friends and we look forward to seeing him again in his new home.

A Service of Resurrection will be held On Friday, June 22, 2018 at 4:00 at St. Barnabas Anglican Church , on the corner of Rt. 160 and 460 (Gold Hill Rd.), in the chapel of Lake Wylie Lutheran Church, 2906 Highway 160 West, Ft. Mill, SC 29798. The Rev. Harold Vandeveer and Rev. Michael Hub presiding. A reception will follow.
