Josie Morton

Rock Hill - Mrs. Masie Josephine "Josie" Osborne Morton, 82. died Saturday, June 7, 2014, at her home.

Memorial services will be 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Whitesell Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Green officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Born on June 21, 1931, Mrs. Morton was a daughter of the late Ralph Osborne and Beulah Johnson Hudson. She was a retired textile worker.

Surviving are two sons, William "Billy" O'Dell Morton, Jr. and Doug Morton; two daughters, Elaine Morton Steading and Debbie Morton Keen; one brother, Larry Osborne; three sisters, Verla Mae Sutton, Evelyn Whitesides and Wilma Powers; 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William O'Dell Morton, Sr.; two sons, David Osborne and Donnie Osborne; two brothers, Cecil Osborne and Gerald Osborne; and two sisters, Mildred Hood and Thelma Patrick.
