Joyce Veronica Nielsen

Joyce V. Nielsen, 81, of Rock Hill passed away March 6, 2013, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. Born September 8, 1931, in East Orange, N.J., Mrs. Nielsen was preceded in death by her husband, Harry A. Nielsen. Survivors include her sons, Robert Nielsen of Rock Hill and his wife, Megan, and John Nielsen of Rock Hill; her daughters, Nancy Nielsen of Rock Hill and Lori Nielsen of Rock Hill, and two grandchildren, Christian Nielsen and Evan Nielsen of Rock Hill. Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, or the charity of one's choice. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the home of Robert and Megan Nielsen, 922 Coach House Court, Rock Hill.
