Judith Dunahue

Judith A. Dunahue, age 67, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House after a brief struggle with liver cancer. Judy was born on November 14, 1946 in Berwyn, Illinois, the daughter of Hilary A. and Margaret Ann Sadler. A resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana for 63 years, Judy was a devoted mother to her two sons while being an active volunteer in the community and church throughout her life. Her profession as a Human Resources Administrator for the Allen County Public Library system allowed her to engage in her two passions, people and books. Upon retiring a few years ago, Judy moved south to the Carolina Lakes community in Indian Land, SC where she quickly adapted to a "Retired and Loving it" lifestyle. Judy was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church in Fort Wayne and later joined Unity Presbyterian Church in Fort Mill, SC. She also took pride in being a member if the PEO sisterhood in both Fort Wayne and the Carolinas. Judy is survived by her brother, Charles and his wife Janice Sadler, sister, Barbara and her husband Michael Greiner, sons, Shawn and his wife Maggie Dunahue, Ryan and his wife Suzanne Dunahue, grandchildren Katelyn and Kimberly Dunahue and many loving nieces and nephews and their families. Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday October 31, 2014 at Unity Presbyterian Church, 303 Tom Hall Street, Fort Mill, SC and then 1:00 PM Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Plymouth Congregational Church, 501 West Berry Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
