Julia Lee (Duquette) Whitehead

Julia Lee (DuQuette) Whitehead age 87 of Indian Land, SC went to be with her Lord on January 29, 2024.  Daughter of Alford and Frances (Stewart) DuQuette, born on January 5, 1937 in Redmond, Oregon.  Julia married the love of her life James Whitehead on August 5th, 1957 in Reno.

Julia is survived by her daughters Frances Zink, Sarah Dailey, Bobbi Whitehead and son James (Carole) Whitehead. Grandchildren Nathaniel (Tamara) Zink, Jeremy and Jacob Zink, Dustin (Kathleen) Dailey, Avery (Angel) Dailey, Moriah Dailey, Cianna (Hunter) Ramsey, Kiel Whitehead and Lea Whitehead.  Great Grandchildren Cora, Lili, Emme, Alyssa, Dohnovan, Logan Andrew, Addie, Alyssa, Axton, Carson, Connor and Elijah. Her brother Donald (Sharon) DuQuette and many nieces and nephews.

Julia was preceded in death by her parents Alford and Frances DuQuette, her husband James Whitehead, brother Louis DuQuette, sister Arlene Alexander, sister in law Lila DuQuette, brother in law Kenneth Alexander and son in law John Zink.

In lieu of flowers the family requested that contributions be made in Julia’s name to Fir Point Bible Conference 760 Fir Point Lane Glendale, OR 97442.

Local service is pending.  There will be a service in Roseburg Oregon in the spring.
