June Mary (Noernberg) Kerr

August 12, 1955 — September 28, 2023

Fort Mill, SC

June Mary (Noernberg) Kerr, 68, of Parma, OH, born on August 12, 1955, in Cleveland, OH, joined her fellow angels in heaven on September 28, 2023.

June grew up in Brook Park, OH where she attended and graduated from Midpark High School in 1973. She worked for 27 dedicated years in the logistics industry at Eagle USA/EGL/CEVA and was an original member of the team that opened the Cleveland office.

She loved ice cream, dancing, singing, decorating for every holiday, being a ‘Mama’ to her grandkids and striking up a conversation with anyone she crossed paths with. She was passionate about cheering on the Cleveland Browns with her boys and found joy and positivity in all of life’s moments. There are many people in this world who got a chance to interact with her and likely walked away from that experience feeling at least a little bit better about their day because of her. Always a beacon of light, and constantly putting others needs in front of her own; these are just a few of the things that June made part of her everyday life.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving sons, Jimmy Kerr of Charlotte, NC and Justin Kerr and wife Sheri of Fort Mill, SC; adoring granddaughter Lizzy and precious grandson Dalton; her beloved Carl Turruiviate, of Parma, OH; siblings Jay Noernberg, Joy Galehouse and husband John of Brook Park, OH, Jan Shannon of Brook Park, OH, John Noernberg of Cleveland, OH , Jim Noernberg of Cleveland, OH, Julie Noernberg of Brook Park, OH, and Joe Noernberg and wife Lucy of O’Fallon, MO ; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and family members.

She is preceded in death by her father Carl Noernberg and her mother Helen Noernberg, both of Brook Park, OH.

June was a mother figure to many, “Me” to everyone she wrote to, and bearer of smiles to all she met.

A celebration of life in her honor will be held at 11:30 am on October 14th at:

Holy Family Catholic Parish, 7367 York Road, Parma OH, 44130

The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Richard Bedlack, Stacey Asnani, and the entire team at the Duke ALS Clinic, as well as Nurse Rebecca Ryan, Nurse Jennifer Davis, Nurse Jennifer Sereno and Nurse Jennifer (Christenbury) Green from VIA Health Partners and Adapt Health.
