Catawba - Mrs. Karen Schiro Auten, 68, of 1194 Rainbow Circle, died Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at her home.

Services will be private.

A native of Litchfield, Minnesota, Mrs. Auten was a daughter of the late Leroy Schiro and Marjorie Benson Schiro.

Surviving are two sons, Billy Auten of Catawba and Michael Auten and his wife, Michelle of Concord, NC; a daughter, Vicki Herrington and her husband, Rob of Rock Hill, SC; two brothers, Leland Schiro and Loren Schiro; and four grandchildren, Jacob Herrington, Logan Herrington, Collin Auten and Rebecca Auten.
