Monroe, NC - Mrs. Norma "Kay" Kiker, 87, died Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Presbyterian Hospital Matthews.
Memorial services will be private.
Mrs. Kiker was a daughter of the late Clayton James and Katie Moselle Hill Broadway.
Kay Kiker was an extraordinary woman. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her free spirited personality and sense of humor made her one of kind, and loved by so many. She made friends everywhere she went and always wanted to share in their differences, wanting to learn their language or help them in some way. She was very resourceful, creative, and determined; able to build anything from a bird cage to the house her children and grandchildren would grow up in, which she constructed alongside her husband. She was such a big part of her family's lives and she will be missed so much, but comfort can be taken in that she is in a much more beautiful place.
Mrs. Kiker is survived by her daughter, Kay Bramlett of Rock Hill, 4 grandchildren, Justine Baker, Michael Becker, Shawn Becker and Erin Bramlett; and 2 great-grandchildren.
