Keith Ray Cryderman

Keith Ray Cryderman, 78, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House surrounded by family.

He was born September 26, 1937 in Salina, Kansas to Lillian Catherine Lohman and Raymond Earl Cryderman. He married his college sweetheart, Elaine Adams, on June 28, 1969, at Dodge City, KS.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine; his son, Jay (Rome) of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Katherine Burns (Marty) of Fort Mill; granddaughter, Piper Burns of Fort Mill; and two sisters, Sally Thorp (Jim) of Salina, KS and Pat Heinze of Kingman, AZ.

He was an Air Force veteran; a graduate of Kansas State University, and had a 40 year career as a Textile Industrial Engineer with Burlington, Springs Mills and Dan River. He was past president of the Institute of Industrial Engineers. He was an active member of Methodist churches serving as Chairman of the Admin Board, Building Committee, and Finance Chairman. He enjoyed golf, grilling for the neighborhood, and truly loved watching football, especially when the Panthers or the KSU Wildcats played.

Memorial service will be 3 pm, Thursday, May 5, 2016 at St John's United Methodist Church, 130 Tom Hall Street, Fort Mill with visitation following the service at the church.
