Keith Anthony Hunt

Mr. Keith Anthony Hunt, 61, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at his home. Raised in Winnsboro, SC, and Hogansville, GA, Mr. Hunt was the son of the late Revonne Clifton Hunt and Virginia Maxine "Micky" Shaw Hunt. He graduated from Hogansville High School, Hogansville, GA, in 1972, and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia at Athens in 1976. He was a lifelong educator and coach at Myrtle Beach High School, Rock Hill High School, Weddington High School and Wolf School (Union County, NC). Over the years he coached many players in football, basketball, golf, and baseball. He was preceded in death by his father, Revonne Clifton Hunt, and his sister, Virginia Anne Wilson. Surviving are his sons, Ryan Chandler Hunt of Rock Hill, SC, and Stewart Evans Hunt of North Greenville University, Tigerville, SC; his mother, Micky Hunt of Greenville, SC, and his brother, Mark Douglas Hunt (Susan) of Greenville, SC. The memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, November 1, 2015, at Lakewood Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Devinney officiating. Visitation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the sons request memorial gifts be sent to Lakewood Baptist Church, 3520 Mount Gallant Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
