Keith Donald Klawes, of Rock Hill, SC, found eternal rest on November 30, 2017. Keith was born February 17, 1943 to Gustav and Muriel Klawes (nee Cox) in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Keith proudly served our country as a United States Marine, both stateside and in Vietnam before marrying the love of his life, Eileen Berens. Keith earned his MBA from Indiana University and built a career in business management. Following his retirement from Wachovia/Wells Fargo, Keith delighted in spending time with his grandchildren, serving as a member and past commandant of Olde English Leathernecks Marine Corps Detachment 1123, having an active role in Knights of Columbus as a 4th Degree Knight, Faithful Navigator and Commander of the Color Corps and never failing to cheer on his Green Bay Packers. Keith is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Eileen; devoted children: Andrea (Scott) Sullivan of Rock Hill, Christine (Julius) Vegh of Shaker Heights, OH, Keith (Jennifer) Klawes of Allenstown, NH and Stephen (Michaelene) Klawes of Lakewood, CO. He lives on in the memories of his 11 grandchildren: Amanda, Scott, Caitlynn and Elyse Sullivan, Julius (Philisha), Marie and John Vegh, Laurel and Ashlie Klawes and Abigail and Ryan Klawes. He will be missed by his caring sisters Kelly Klawes of Milwaukee, WI and Janet (Jim) Hemming of Janesville, WI; brother-in-law, Thomas (Adele) Berens and sister-in-law Linda Berens both of Hebron, IN; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, his daughter, Kathleen Klawes and his brother, Glenn Klawes were in heaven waiting to welcome him with loving arms. The visitation will be held from 3:30 - 6:30 PM, Monday, December 4, 2017 at Saint Anne Catholic Church in Rock Hill. A Funeral Mass will follow at 6:30 PM at the church.
