Kelly Thomas Rippy

Kelly Thomas Rippy, 48, dedicated mother, died Tuesday, April 4, 2017. She was a graduate of Olympic High School in Charlotte, where she was a member of the Flag Corp. Kelly always looked out for others and did this professionally for over 20 years serving her community as a Registered Nurse. She is preceded in death by her father, Jackie E. Thomas, Sr, a sister, Michelle Lynn Thomas, and a brother, Jackie Edward Thomas, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Thomas T. Rippy, Jr; children, Wesley Butler, Matthew Rippy, Laurinda Rippy; her mother, Cheryl M. Thomas; a sister, Crystal Darlene Thomas; a brother, Scottie Lee Thomas. A funeral will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Bass-Cauthen Funeral Chapel. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until service time on Saturday.
