Kenneth Eugene Mahle

Kenneth Eugene Mahle, 55, loving husband of Susan J. Mahle and wonderful father of Chrstine, Paul and Kevin, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 8, 2010, after a courageous two year battle with liver cancer. He was born in Lima, Ohio to Warren G. Mahle and the late Norma A. Mahle. Most of his life was lived in Rochester, NY, where he graduated from Churchville Chili High School and attended night school to earn his Journeyman's Papers in Tool and Die. Later Ken moved his family to Rock Hill, SC to pursue other job opportunities . He was employed by Tyco Electronics prior to becoming ill. Ken was loved by many and mostly known for his strong faith, great sense of humor and contagious laugh. He served the Lord fro 38 years and was an active member of Morningstar Ministries in Ft. Mill. He is survived by his wife; daughter; two sons; his grand daughter; brother Norman H. Mahle of Lynchburg, VA; and sister Majorie Mahle Prouty of Rochester, NY. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:30pm Sunday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. A service to celebrate Ken's life will be held Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:30pm in the chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home with Greg Miller officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Comenius School for Creative Leadership, c/o the Elementary School, 8160 Regent Parkway, Ft. Mill, SC 29715
