Kenneth Richard Weiss

Mr. Kenneth Richard Weiss of Fort Mill, SC and formerly of Macomb, MI. Passed away surrounded by his family, on Friday, July 31, 2015; born in Detroit, MI a son of the late Stanley and Julia Cichon Weiss.

Mr. Weiss was a member of the Catholic faith, retired hospital chaplain, ordained deacon October 2004, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and Polish Century Club. Mr. Weiss loved his garden, and his family, and his ministry to people in need.

Survivors include his wife Rosemary "Rosie" Weiss of Fort Mill, SC, one daughter Melissa Hampton and husband Eric of Fort Mill, SC, one brother Donald Weiss and wife Pat of Oaklawn, IL, and two grandchildren Brayden and Conor Hampton, and number of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, and two brother-in-laws, Christine Butler and husband Sherman, and Camille Kotwick and husband Gerald.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 6828 Old Reid Road, Charlotte, NC 28210. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM followed with a rosary service at Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Place Drive, Fort Mill, SC 29708 and the family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church.
