Kitty Warlick Blackwell

Kitty W. Blackwell, 91, passed away Sunday October 6, 2013 at The Heritage At Lowman in White Rock, SC. Mrs. Blackwell was born in Winnabow Township, Brunswick County NC on November 29, 1921 to the late Frederick Martin and Sarah Ramseur Warlick. She was a member of Chapin Baptist Church in Chapin, SC, and former resident of Rock Hill, SC. Kitty was a York Comprehensive High School Graduate, a member of the Rock Hill Ladies Variety Club, and a retired Administrative Assistant at Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Company. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles W Blackwell, sisters Catherine, Marie, Hazel and brothers Paul and Harold. Mrs. Blackwell is survived by daughter Trudie B. McGarvey(Dan),son Stephen C. Blackwell(Pat), grandchildren Petra, Stephanie, Barrett, Leigh, Aaron, Justin, great-grandchildren Ashley, Danielle, Ciara, and a great-great-grandchild Alexis. A Celebration of Life Service in memory of Kitty will be held Thursday, October 10 at 10:00am in the New Life Chapel at The Heritage At Lowman in White Rock, SC 29177. Visitation in Rock Hill will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, October 10 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, 700 Heckle Boulevard, Rock Hill SC 29730, followed by a 3:00pm graveside service and interment at Grandview Memorial Park, 620 South Cherry Rd. Rock Hill SC 29732. Rev Philip Vaughn, Senior Pastor of Chapin Baptist Church will be officiating.
