Kristin Lee Skinner Head

Rock Hill - Kristin Lee Skinner was a beloved daughter, granddaughter mother and friend gained her angel wings on August 8, 2021.

Kristin was born in Rock Hill, SC on March 11, 1983, to Lee and Gloria Skinner. She graduated from Rock Hill High School and attended York Technical College.

She is survived by her daughter, Kyah Brown of Rock Hill; and sons, Chayton and Jordan Whitesides of Tennessee.  She had several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins whom she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, George Eddington and Grady Skinner; and her grandmother, Bonnie Skinner; and her great grandmother, Blanche Eddington; her uncle, Jason Blair; and her cousin that was her brother in her eyes, Brian Eddington

Kristin loved her children and family and friends to the fullest. Kristin was fiercely loyal to her family and friends. She was a compassionate giving woman and never met a stranger. If you ever needed a friend, you could count on her. Kristin loved to sing and dance and entertain.  Her beautiful smile and kindness will be missed by all of us. Those who knew Kristin, even a little, lost a shining light in their lives.

I ached and yearned for that imaginary place, the one which I could breathe. Now I sit here with God, with Nature beauty and astounding light; and now I feel like finally I can BREATHE!

When you think of Kristin, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. Her eternal life is everlasting with God, and we will meet again.

Visitation with family and friends will be at Whitesell Funeral Home, 975 Riverview Rd, RHSC 29730 on Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 1 – 2 pm and Funeral Services will follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating. Graveside service will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Rock Hill, SC.
