Kristine Elizabeth Colley

Rock Hill, SC – Ms. Kristine Elizabeth Colley, 33, departed her earthly body on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Red Path Baptist Fellowship Church, located at 814 Teaberry Lane, Rock Hill, SC 29730, with Pastor Eddie Williams officiating.

Kristine was the beloved daughter of the late Mary Osborne Thurman. She is survived by her daughter, Mia Elizabeth Bahena; three brothers, Jose Colley III, Andrew Colley (Chelsea), Jessy Colley (Taylor); two sisters, Amber Arnold (Theodore) and Raven Thurman (Justin). 

Kristine was born in Stockton, California, and was a cherished member of the Catawba Nation. Growing up on the Catawba Nation reservation, she was surrounded by the love of her mother, brothers, and sisters, and together they created beautiful memories filled with lots of jokes, laughter and love for each other. She held a deep appreciation for her community and took great pride in her cultural heritage.

Known for her vibrant spirit, Kristine found joy in reading, crafting, and exploring the beauty of nature. One of her favorite characters was Hello Kitty. She enjoyed spending holidays and gatherings with her brothers and sisters, creating lasting memories that will be forever cherished. Kristine had a flair for fashion and beauty; she loved styling her hair, nails, and dressing up. It was rare to see her without the her complemented signature red lipstick.

Above all, Kristine's greatest treasure was her daughter, Mia Elizabeth Bahena. The bond they shared was a testament of love, filling Kristine's life with joy. Her most cherished role was that of a mother to Mia.

Although she has left her earthly home to embrace her eternal rest in heaven, Kristine’s love will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
