Kurt Steven Sellheim

Kurt Steven Sellheim, age 55, passed away, surrounded by loved ones, on Sunday, August 15th  from esophageal cancer.  This date would have been his father’s 94th birthday.  He received excellent care from the Levine Cancer Center in both Charlotte, NC and Rock Hill, SC.

Kurt was preceded in death by his father Dale Sellheim and is survived by his mother, Susan K. Sellheim.  His son Steven is a college student and resident of Denmark.  He is also survived by his sisters, Camden Frost of Austin, TX and Jennifer Holle of Lancaster, SC.

Kurt was a graduate of Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC and spent his entire childhood in Potomac, MD.  He was a graduate of the University of Maryland with Bachelor Degrees in Mathematics and Economics.  He also received a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of MD.

He was hired by Federal Express after earning his MBA and was employed in Colorado Springs, CO and Orlando, FL in their IT Department as a Senior Database Administrator for more than 20 years.

Kurt was a world traveler, a beach volleyball player and a classical guitarist.  He loved his family and will be greatly missed.
