Rock Hill, SC - Lamarie Bridges Smith passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020.
Everyone Lamarie met became just like family. She was a second mother to many of her coworkers. She loved everyone she came in contact with and they loved her as well.
Her husband Carl Ray Smith is a hard working man. They would take the family to Myrtle Beach to play in the sands. They would also often visit the North Carolina mountains to meet his side of the family.
With her husband, Carl Smith, she had a great household. Her sons are; Jeffery Scott Hoskins of Lexington, SC, Jamie Lee Smith of Cleveland, OH and Thomas Hardin Smith of Rock Hill, SC.
Crystal Smith of York, SC was her husband’s daughter who she met later on, but, she still loved her like her own. She loved all her kids and will keep loving them in her next life.
She also has 4 wonderful sisters; Thomasina Bridges McAteer and Virginia Bridges Michelini are the two eldest. They would often babysit their younger sister, Lamarie, and would even parade her to the other neighborhood kids. Deborah Swinton met Lamarie when Debbie moved to Rock Hill. They quickly became best friends and could not be separated. Lamarie’s children are honored to call her an Aunt and she is a sister to Lamarie now. Her youngest sister is Murrine Bridges Parra, they grew up together and probably got into lots of trouble together as well.
