Larry Ray Bongard

Mr. Larry Ray Bongard age 68 passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Well-more Reflections Memory Center in Tega Cay. Born Feb. 7, 1950 in Alma, MI a son of the late Clyde Lee & Ruth (Berryo) and husband of Donna June (Winsor)Bongard. Larry Retired from Rexair Inc. in 2005 after 27 years with them. He spent the last 20 years as the International Field Service Mgr. traveling around the world helping distributors with their service centers. Larry also worked for Essex Int'l from 1973-1979 as Chief Quality Inspector, Beck's Farm Market from 1967-1972 as assistant store manager. Larry was a 1968 graduate of Fulton High School in Middleton, MI. He also attended DeVry Institute of Technology vie correspondence course in electronics.

Larry loved his Lord Jesus, family, friends. He would go out of his way to help others with anything they needed. He enjoyed camping, golf, games with family & grandsons. He loved doing wood working, remodeling and projects around the yard and house for ourselves and anyone who wanted his help. He also loves the Carolina Panthers. He held PSL for the entire time. There was no truer fan, rain or shine, win or loss he was there for the whole game. Love to invite family and friends to go along.

Survivors include his wife Donna of 49.5 years who was his high school sweet heart, son Brent Michael & girl friend Kim Carpenter of Kannapolis; daughter Renae Michelle and husband Robert Morrow of Clover. Larry has 6 living brothers: Chuck, Patrick, Raymond, Bill, Shawn & Dan all in MI and one older brother, Jason preceded him in death as well has their Parents Clyde & Ruth and grandparents. Also surviving Larry had 4 grandsons; 2 of clover & 2 of Kannapolis and 4 step grandsons, 1 step granddaughter and 3 step great grandchildren.

The Celebration of Life service for Larry will be held at The First Baptist Church in Rock Hill, SC, Friday, 3/16. Visitation will be at 1 and service following at 2. Rev. Jamie Burdette will be officiating.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date in a couple weeks at his home church in Maple Rapids, MI
