Larry Edward Williams

68, died Sunday, Nov 25, 2018. He was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and had retired as a Constable for York County after 11 years. He had served the Bethesda Fire Department for 35 years holding various ranks and offices the last being Fire Chief for the past 18 years. He loved working on cars and motorcycles. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Gayla; his daughter, Kelli Williams Oliver "Greg"; a sister, Lisa Delane Williams; 3 brothers, Mike Williams "Glenda", Dennis Williams "Lisa", Ken Williams "Kelly"; 2 grandchildren, Judson and Brennan; as well a host of nieces, nephews, and "Firehouse" family. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov 28, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Lakewood Baptist Church with Rev Jerry Devinney officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00pm Tuesday evening at the Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home.
