Laura Emily Nicholas

Laura Emily Nicholas, Age 78 of Fort Mill, SC entered into eternal life Tuesday April 29, 2014 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House. Born in Pittsburgh, PA she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand Mundt and Emily May Mundt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Arthur Nicholas, a son, David Earl Nicholas, and two grandsons, Ian Guzik and Preston Harland Patterson. Laura leaves behind three daughters, Laura Patterson, husband Gary Patterson of Tulsa, OK; Deborah Nicholas of Fort Mill, SC; and Sonja West, husband Greg West of Tulsa, OK. Four sons, Dale Nicholas Jr. of Fort Mill, SC; Barry Nicholas of York, SC; Scott Nicholas of Fort Mill, SC; and Wayne Nicholas, wife Angela Nicholas of Fort Mill, SC. Three grandchildren Zachary Nicholas, Emily Nicholas and Matthew Nicholas all of Fort Mill, SC. Visitation at Palmetto Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 30 from 7:00-9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday May 1st, 2014 at 11:00 am at Grace Community United Methodist Church in Fort Mill, SC. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Community United Methodist Church, 1190 Gold Hill Road, Fort Mill, SC 29708.
