Lauren Michelle Reed

Lauren Michelle Reed age 28 of Tega Cay, SC passed away at home unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 4, 2020.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Lauren moved to the Carolinas in 1998. She graduated from Grace Academy in 2010 and attended Central Piedmont from 2012-2014. Lauren was employed in business development and sales with Hendrix Motors and most recently with Mazda of South Charlotte.

Beautiful, charismatic, and fun, Lauren had a sense of humor and spirit that were uniquely her own. She loved her family and her friends.

Lauren is survived by her parents, father Daniel Thomas Reed (Tracey Alexander Reed) of Fripp Island, SC and mother Christine Lynn Reed (Daniel Wissinger) of Tega Cay, SC, brother Sean Reed (Hannah Dinning Reed) of Rock Hill, SC, sister Shannon Nichole Reed of Tega Cay, SC, maternal grandparents Janet L. Barry and John Walsh of Pittsburgh, PA, aunts and uncles Donna and Robert Weisenseel of Atwater, OH, Brenda and Joseph Harris of Ravenna, OH, Michelle and Regis Seaman of Portersville, PA and cousins Amanda Ing and Casey Seaman. She leaves behind her beloved pets, Bentley, Meow, Muffin and Dragon.

Lauren was preceded in death by grandparents John P. Barry, Terry Rosado-Schempp, Thomas Denver Reed and great-grandmother Mildred L Busch with whom she shared a special bond.

A visitation with family and friends will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Palmetto Funeral Home in Fort Mill, SC from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm keeping social distancing guidelines.  The service will take place at 3:00 pm.
