Lawrence Eustice Little, Jr.

June 26, 1932 — August 4, 2012

Lawrence Eustice Little, Jr. of York, SC passed away August 4, 2012 at home. Born in Waxhaw, NC, Mr. Little was the son of the late Lawrence Eustice Little, Sr and his wife Mamie. Mr. Little served as a Sergeant in the Army National Guard Infantry and worked at Rock Hill Printing and Finishing for many years before becoming self-employed. Also, he was a Mason and a past member of the American Legion. Mr. Little was truly respected and loved by many friends and loved ones, and had a great love for his horses. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Little of Rock Hill, SC and "Doc" Little of Waxhaw, NC, and one sister Edna Branch of Rock Hill, SC. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Peggy Quinn, 3 children, Kenneth Little, Tamela Piper of York, SC, Donna Ryser of Loganville, Ga, a sister Ruby Williams and her husband Benny and a very special nephew Ronnie "Shakey" Steele and his wife Jo. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Little will be held at 3pm Tuesday August 7, 2012 at the chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home with a visitation from 1pm until the hour of service on Tuesday. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park on S. Cherry Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to United Hospice of the Piedmont, 118 York St Chester, SC 29706.
