Lelia Mae "Pie" White Rollins, 80, of Catawba, SC passed away Thursday, September 17, 2014 at home. Born in Chester, SC, Mrs. Rollins was the daughter of the late Melvin and Omeree White. She was a member of Harmony United A.M.E Zion Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Mike Arthur Clawson and Donald Rollins; 2 brothers, James Bo White and Franklin Roosevelt White; and 3 sisters, Frances Wylie, Mattie Mae Pride, and Marcella Blake. She is survived by her husband, Paul Rollins; a son, Sammie Rollins (fiancé Jacqueline Armstrong and ex-wife Gloria Rollins); 3 daughters, Ruth Clawson, Vanessa White Clawson, and Angenita Rollins; 4 sisters, Louise Howard (Calvin), Sadie Cathcart, Lola Dunham (Thomasine) and Pearlina Crank (Robert) one sister-in-law, Lillie Anne White; 15 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Rollins will be held 2pm Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Harmony United A.M.E. Zion Church in Edgemoor, SC. Burial will follow at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday, September 19, 2014 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home.
