Lemmie Webb, Jr., 83, of Rock Hill, SC fell into the loving arms of Jesus Christ his Savior peacefully on September 5, 2021 at his home.
Jr was born April 20, 1938 in Walhalla, South Carolina to Lemey Toliver Webb and Birdie Mae Franks. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Stella Stanley.
Jr is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Wilburn Webb, of 56 years, his sister, Shirley Passmore of Franklin, NC; his son, Morris Wayne Webb (Dawn) of Rock Hill, his daughter, Marcia Ann Locklair (James) of Rock Hill; his grandchildren Michael Webb, Rebekah Horne (Lee), Jeremy Locklair (Brittany), Noah Locklair, Allie Carter, and his great-grandchildren, Mallory Horne, Cameron Brooks, and Emma Brooks, as well as his step sisters and brothers and many nieces and nephews.
He was an avid truck driver and last worked many years at Ideal Logging of Richburg, SC. He was a member of Lesslie Church of God in Rock Hill. He was loved by all and never met a stranger. He always said if he didn’t pick on you, he didn’t love you.
A memorial service to honor his life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Lesslie Church of God, 2357 S Anderson Road, Rock Hill with Pastor Scott Demers officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 until time for the service to start.
