Lena Reid Dunlap

Lena Reid Miller Dunlap, 91, of 300 Kildaire Woods Drive, formerly of 261 Country Club Drive in Rock Hill, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Woodland Terrace Nursing Home. A native of Jefferson, SC, Mrs. Dunlap was born May 12, 1917 a daughter of the late Walter W. and Lena Stultz Miller. She was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and Auburn University, a retired school teacher and member of First Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Fred Dunlap, her only child Rick Dunlap and her sister Dot Perrill. Surviving are her daughter-in-law Anita Dunlap of Apex, NC; her sister-in-law Bradley Caldwell; two grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one niece and three nephews. An interment service will be held Wednesday at 11:30am at Laurelwood Cemetery followed by a memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Dunlap at 1:00pm at First Presbyterian Church with Reverend John Pruitt officiating. The family will receive friends in the church narthex following the memorial service.
