Leon Jackson, 74, of Rock Hill, died, Thursday, August 29, 2013. He was a US Army veteran and had spent over 30 years with Continental/General Tire Company. He was an active member of St. Matthew AME Zion Church and preceded in death by 2 brothers. He is survived by: His wife of 45 years: Jo Ann; 3 children: Gretta Pearson, Brandi Jackson, David Adams and wife Brenda; 1 grandson: Devin Pearson. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 2:00pm at St. Matthew AME Zion Church with interment to follow in Grandview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00pm Monday evening at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the St Matthews AME Zion Church Building Fund.
