Jean Carlisle

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lila Jean Carlisle age 78 on February 4 at The Bungalows in Indian Land, SC. She was born in Fort Mill, SC. Jean retired after 30 years from Lance in 2003. She loved to travel with her husband and spend time with her family. Jean was especially fond of watching her grandsons play sports. 

Jean is survived by her daughter Carrie Wild and her husband Brian of Fort Mill, SC. Her grandchildren Greyson and Lucas Wild of Fort Mill, SC. Brother Bob Epps and his wife Loretta of Fort Mill, SC. Her sister Ann Kimbrell and her husband Eddie of Catawba, SC. 

Jean was preceded in death by her husband William Larry Carlisle. Her parents, Lamont Pettus Epps and Elizabeth Kidd Epps of Fort Mill, SC. Her brothers Donnie Epps, David Epps and her sister Sarah “Polly” Rockholt all of Fort Mill, SC. 

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 12:00 noon in the Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Flint Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time on Friday.
