Lila Dorn

Lila Rose (Krause) Dorn, 67, beloved wife, mother, cousin, sister, aunt & friend of Charlotte NC (previously Greendale, WI) went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 19th 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center, Pineville NC. She was surrounded by loved ones and peacefully passed from complications of pneumonia and COPD. She is preceded in death by her loving parents Alice & Eugene Krause; sister, Diane Krause; brother, Gene (Sharon) Krause; daughter, Debra Dorn and many beloved aunts, cousins & extended family members. She is survived by her husband of 45 wonderful years, Richard Dorn; daughter Amy (Dorn) Sullivan & son-in-law Chris Sullivan; her sweet yorkie pup Sadie; sister Janice (Carl) Pledger; sister Donna (Jim) Hensch; niece Julie (Scott) Hathaway; niece Janet Hensch; niece Wendy (Brandon) Smith; niece Becky (Robert) Lamphier; "grandchildren" Isaiah, Maxwell, Lucy, Charlotte, Betsy, Simon, Ashli, Paige, Maddie and Katie & many countless dear friends. A very special thank you to: Carolinas Medical Center Pineville, Scott Lindblom MD and Tammy RN, Carolinas Palliative Care & Hospice Network- Dr. Robbins and Kathleen RN & our family and friends for your continued prayers, love and support. A celebration of Lila's life will be held at 2pm Friday, March 6th 2015 at Lake Wylie Lutheran Church, 2906 Hwy 160 W, Fort Mill, SC 29708.
