Linda Diane (Fiorino) Glenn

April 17, 1950 — February 5, 2023

Fort Mill, SC

Linda (Fiorino) Glenn, 72, of Fort Mill, SC left the world suddenly on Sunday, February 5th with her family by her side. She is predeceased by her son, Kevin (1986) and her mother, Margaret (2022). She is survived by her best friend and loving husband of 51 years, David Glenn, her children Ryan (Kim), Katie (Brandon), her cherished grandchildren Sadie, Emily, Brady and Parker, her father Albert, brother Wayne (Mary), several cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews and her precious dog Murphy.

Linda was born in New Jersey, attended Edison High School and graduated from Rider University in 1972. Linda lived a life of kindness, compassion and love. She was a dedicated teacher for over 30 years and was a fiercely passionate advocate for her students. In addition to teaching, her primary focus was her family, and her life was dedicated to ensuring her husband, children and then grandchildren had wonderful memories and always felt her love. A few years ago, the topic of death came up as the pandemic was prevalent. Linda said, “If it’s my time, I have no regrets. I have lived an amazing life. I got to be there as my children grew up and see their life milestones and become wonderful parents of their own. I got to meet and know all my grandkids and Dad and I got to fulfill our dream of moving to the Carolinas. Everything after that is just a cherry on top of an already amazing life.” We wish we could have had her for longer because her wisdom and love were so important to us all. However, we are comforted having experienced her guidance and inspiration on life and love.

The funeral mass will be held at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill, SC on Saturday, February 11th at 10am. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to HOPE in Lancaster, Inc in Lancaster, SC. Linda was passionate about helping others in her community and this charity helps provide assistance for disadvantaged families in crisis.
