Linda Mcdowell

Mrs. Linda Lambert McDowell, 57, of 203 Drane Cr., passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, March 28, 2009, at her residence. Born in Charlotte, N.C., to the late Jack and Dorothy Hucks Lambert, Linda was a merchandise inspector for T.J. Maxx, and a member of Southside Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Southside Baptist Church, conducted by Pastor Kenneth Walters. Entombment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Hoyt McDowell. Surviving are a daughter, Angela Parris of York; sons, Michael Stillwell Jr. of Rock Hill, and Arron Hoagland of Columbia, S.C.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Georgia Ford of Ruby, S.C., Mary Cleveland of Concord, N.C., and Pam Creel of Monroe, N.C.
