Linda Sistar Owings

ROCK HILL- Mrs. Linda Sistar Owings, 66, of 897 Eastwood Drive, died on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at her home.

Graveside services will be 2 PM Wednesday, at Forest Hills Cemetery.

A native of Rock Hill, SC, Mrs. Owings was a daughter of the late Silas Sistar and Ola Starnes Dill and the widow of Tommy Andrew Owings. Linda was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family very much. She worked at Aplix for 34 years. She loved her job and all the friends she made there. She loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are three daughters, Sherrie Lynn Hunt, Tonda Kaye Owings, and Megan Waldrop; a brother, Silas "Buddy" Sistar, a sister, Shirley Ann Garrison; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Wayne Owings;
