Linda Sue Watson

Linda Sue Watson (née Jones) unexpectedly passed away after an extended illness in Charlotte NC at the age of 68. Linda is survived by her three daughters, Nancy O'Hara of Murfreesboro TN, Kristine Peele and husband Timothy of Charlotte NC, Amanda Jenkins and husband Travis of Centerville UT; grandchildren Alexis and Aidan O'Hara and Brock, Ireland, Mack and Piper Jenkins; siblings, Nancy Hansen, Janet Jones and Joan Porter; and beloved dog Tinkerbelle. Linda was born on September 16, 1946 in Chicago IL to John and Shirley Jones (deceased). She married Bernard Watson Jr., in 1966. They were married 15 years. She was a long time resident of Rancho Cucamonga and Murfreesboro TN before moving to Charlotte NC. She retired last year, after a long career as a human resource specialist and claims specialist. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, with a kind and gentle spirit, and was beloved by all who met her. A private memorial service will be held in the spring of 2015 on Catalina Island, CA.
