Lois Annette Nichols Akers

Lois “Annette” Akers , 60, of Rock Hill, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 at Piedmont Medical Center. She was born March 5, 1958 in Rock Hill, SC, daughter of the late Henry David Nichols and Tessie Lois Sisk Nichols Price.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Helms and Sue Horne and two brothers, Hubert “Nick” Nichols and Cephas Nichols.

Annette adored her family and had a passion for all animals and reading. She was previously employed with Winthrop University.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 30 years, Gary L. Akers, Jr.; sister, Francis Allen of Rock Hill; brothers, Ronnie Nichols and Andrew Nichols, both of Rock Hill; father-in-law, Gary L. Akers, Sr. of Richburg; brother-in-law, Barry Akers of Chesapeake, VA; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Daisy Mae.
