Lois Rainey Barfield

Fort Mill – Mrs. Lois Rainey Barfield, 83, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at her home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, at Fort Mill Church of God and the family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be private.

A native of York County and was a daughter of the late Lonnie Clayton Rainey and Lois Rainey Phillips. She was a member of the Fort Mill Church of God. She was very family oriented and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was employed with Celanese and the Lance Company.

Surviving are her two sons, Ronald W. Barfield and his wife, Linda and Randy C Barfield and his wife Susan; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Lonnie Rainey and Chuckie Phillips. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Barfield; two daughters, Kay Dover and Tracey Barfield; and three sisters, Ann Ridenhour, Carolyn Demby, and Peggy Rainey Lynch.
