Lorchele Cathlina (Johnson) Howard

York, SC – Mrs. Lorchele Cathlina Johnson Howard, 47, died Sunday, May 5, 2024, at her home.

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Friday, May 31, 2024, at Oakdale Baptist Church with the Rev. Joey Deese.  Family will receive friends following the service.

She was born in Gastonia, NC but was a native of Ocala, Fl, she was a daughter of Donald Clarkson (Debbie) and Millann Johnson.  She will be remembered as a loving Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Teacher and Friend.  She was a Godfearing woman who was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church where she served in the Women’s Ministry, AWANA’s and took yearly mission trips to Belize.  She was a caregiver to people with special disabilities.  She loved the outdoors, traveling, and adventure.  Building memories with her family and friends was always important to her. Rainbow Springs in Dunnellon, Fl will always be a special place for her and her husband, Paul.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Paul Howard; two daughters, Patricia Howard and Adrielle Howard; a stepdaughter, Amanda Howard; two stepsons, Paul A. Howard II and Marcus Howard; five grandsons, Kohen Lytle, Makiye, Josiah, Mason, and Marquez; six granddaughters, Analiyah, Janiyah, Jaliyah, Ariana, Adore and Amore; five sisters, Dione Clarkson, Leah Carter, Marti Carter, Murphy Johnson-Carter, and Cathy Dwyer; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank family members and the members of Oakdale Baptist Church for all of the care and support given to Lorchele and her family during this very difficult time.
