Faye Dunlap Currence passed away on November 18, 2015..She was the youngest daughter of Henry Dunlap and Pearl McCants Dunlap. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Currence, her son, Donnie Currence, her sister Bertie Thomas, her brother H. D. Dunlap, and her special companion, a dog named Sissy... Surviving is her granddaughter, Shelley, her husband Mike and three great-granddaughters, Ella, Elyssa, and Nora MaryFae...her sister, Audrey Starnes, and bothers, Roy Dunlap, and Jack Dunlap, their wives and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her very much. She previously worked at M. Lowenstein, Rayfield Electric, and retired from the finance department with the city of Rock Hill. She was a long time and active member of Antioch United Methodist Church. She loved to work in her yard and enjoyed camping with her family. She has made many true friends and touched innumerable lives in the community. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday November 21 at Antioch United Methodist, following a private burial. Bass Cauthen Funeral Home is handling arrangements and Pastor Phillip Chandler is conducting the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send memorials to Antioch United Methodist or to the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House on India Hook Road in Rock Hill.
