Lucrezia Lanford

York - Lucrezia Louise Lanford, 51, of 4918 Carillon Court, York, SC died Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Carolinas Healthcare System - Main, in Charlotte, NC.

A native of Farlysville, VA, Ms. Lanford was the daughter of Gerald V. and the late Millie D. Lanford. Luc was a graduate of Northwestern High School and Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. She was employed by the American Red Cross. She was an avid outdoors person, loved kayaking, Panthers football and was a lover of all animals.

She is survived by her father, Gerald and stepmother, Jane, of York, SC; brother, Lewis and sister-in-law, Sarah; and nieces, Lucy and Annabell of Tega Cay, SC.

A memorial gathering will be held from 3:00pm-5:00pm on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at McDowell Nature Preserve.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society of your choice.
