Lynda Gibson Mcateer

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Lynda Gibson McAteer, 55, of 215 Echo Lane died Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Piedmont Medical Center.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Grandview Memorial Park Cherry Road, with Pastor Larry Williams officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the Whitesell Funeral Home.

A native of Rock Hill, Lynda was the daughter of the late Merritt and Connie Gibson. Lynda was a wonderful woman who touched the hearts of all that she came in contact with. She loved her children and grandchildren more than any words can express. She was a very hard working lady that worked up until she could no longer. Even though her health prevented her from doing alot of things, she still fought to be there for her family until the very last minute. It saddens our hearts to let her go but we all know she is healed and in a better place.

Surviving are her husband, Billy McAteer; her son, Billy Plyler (Donna); and her daughter, Pamela Lowman (Donald).
