CHESTER - Mable "Totsie" Goddard Hall, 72, of 550 Fifth St., died Saturday, April 16, 2011, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Memorial services will be 5:00 PM Tuesday, at Southside Baptist Church, with Revs. Ken Walters and Tommy Williams officiating.

Born in Newberry, S.C., She is the daughter of the late George and Roxie Smith Goddard whom she loved. A past employee of Springs Industries for over 17 years, Totsie was also a homemaker taking care of her family. She loved children and was a loving nurturing mother to her daughter Linda. She also enjoyed having time to play with her nephews Chris and Kevin, and great nephew Richie. When her grandson Dakota was born, she also cherished her time playing with him as well.
Totsie was a wonderful loving wife to her husband Herbert. She loved her family very much which also encludes her brother Cecil and her late brother Billy. She cherished and enjoyed the fellowship of friends and looked for any oportunity to help anyone she could.


The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:15 - 5:00 PM at the church.
