Marc Wesley Frye

MARC WESLEY FRYE, 54, of Ft. Mill, SC, a previous resident of Pinellas County, FL, and a native of Huntington, WV, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016. He was born July 19th, 1961, in Durham NC, the son of Phyllis Lee Foster and John Lee Frye both natives of Huntington, WV. He was a successful land developer and teacher, and a graduate of Huntington East High School and the University of Maryland (UMD). Marc was a master carpenter, pianist, harmonica player, author, avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hiking and camping in the mountains with family. Marc is survived by his wife Vicky, son Jacob, daughter Skylar; mother Phyllis (Jim) Foster; father John (Anne); step-mother Judy Jones; mother-in-law Wanda Roe; brother, nephews, great-nephew, John (Rima) Frye, Daniel (Brie), Nicholas, and Takoda; sister, nephew and niece Mechelle (John) Hanna, Royce and Grace; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Diana and Danny Smirl; brother-in-law and nephews Chuck (Debbie) Smith, Chuckie, Chase; sister-in-law, niece and nephew Angie Smith, Lindsey, Collin; brother-in-law and niece Joey (Sandi) Smith, and Kylie; sister-in-law Crystal (Ryan) Flaningan; brother-in-law Jason Roe; and a host of extended family and friends. Services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Palmetto Funeral Home (2049 Carolina Place Drive Fort Mill, SC Phone: (803) 802-7788) with Pastor Eddie Jolly officiating.
