Margaret Pressley Knight

Mrs. Margaret Pressley Knight, 87 passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at White Oak Manor in Rock Hill, SC. A native of York County, Mrs. Knight was the daughter of the late Banks Cauthen Pressley and Mary Angeline Pressley. Born on October 7, 1926, she was a member of Park Baptist Church and a homemaker and loving wife of 67 years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her daughter Ann Knight and five siblings. She is survived by her husband, James Jefferson Knight; her daughter, Jane Carlson of Charlotte, NC; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank all of the loving caregivers at White Oak Manor and Interim Health Care Hospice. The care that each one gave was so appreciated. We love you all so much. The service to celebrate her life will be held 11am Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Park Baptist Church with Jackie Knight and Pastor Dave Kiehn officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Park Baptist Church, 717 E. Main St. Rock Hill, SC 29730.
