Margaret Jean 'Peggy' Norris

Margaret Jean ("Peggy") Norris, 83, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center. Born on July 20, 1929 in Turtle Creek, PA, Peggy was the daughter of John and Geraldine Gribbin. She attended Tyrone High School in Tyrone, PA. She is survived by her sons, Larry Norris and wife, Jody of McKinney, TX, Doug Norris of Charlotte, NC and Rick Norris and wife, Jan of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nicole Norris of Mt Pleasant, SC, Stephen Norris of Ann Arbor, MI, Madison Norris of Wilmington, NC and Ben and Justin Norris of McKinney, TX. Peggy worked as a florist at Winn-Dixie for many years and had a strong passion for cooking and preparing fabulous appetizers. She will forever be remembered for her youthful spirit that shined through her "happy eyes". A gathering to remember and celebrate Mrs. Norris was held on Sunday, June 16, 2013.
