Margaret Jackson Robinson

Mrs. Margaret Jackson Floyd Robinson, 85, passed away Wednesday June 21, 2017 at her home.

Ms. Robinson was born on May 17, 1932, to Thomas B. Jackson, Sr. and Nellie Bailey Jackson in York SC. She received her Nursing Degree from York General Hospital School of Nursing in 1951 and worked with Dr. J.A. Patrick in York South Carolina from 1966 until she retired in 1982. She loved the Lord, her children and family. She faithfully attended Eastview Baptist Church in Rock Hill.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband's David L. Floyd and Hugh P. Robinson, Sr.

She is survived by her children Margaret Atkinson, Lynda Elkins, Edna Lindemann, Mary Elkins (Tommy), David Floyd (Sharon) and Brenda Davis (Philip); 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; Her brothers and sisters Buster Jackson (Joanne), Lula Covington (Henry), Helen Covington (Bobby), Foster Jackson (Mamie), Joe Jackson (Cathy), Ed Jackson (Susan) Sam Jackson (Becky), Nina Lynn (Pete), Sandra Parker (Bubba), Sara Black (Donald), Miles Jackson (Terry), Patsy Conrad (Gill). Her sister-in-law, Jean Jackson, and brother-in-law Denver Parker. Proceeded in death by Bill Jackson, Mary Ann Chambers, and Nellie Parker.

In lieu of flowers Memorial gifts may be made to the Eastview Baptist Building Fund, 1430 Gordon Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730

Visitation will be on Friday June 23, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm with funeral services Sunday June 25, 2017 at 3:00pm. Both will be held at Eastview Baptist Church.
