Margaret White Sallenger

Margaret White Sallenger, 74, of Cary, NC, passed away October 29th, 2017 at her home in Tega Cay, South Carolina with family by her side. A ‘Celebration of Life' will be held at Brown Wynne Funeral Home at 200 NE Maynard in Cary, NC on November 10th, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Margaret was born in Merry Hill, NC to Jeff and Edith White on August 21st, 1943. She went to high school at John Holmes High School and graduated in 1961. Margaret attended college classes at the local technical schools and held a few different jobs before marrying Kenneth C Sallenger in December of 1968. Together, they started a family and lived in Windsor, NC and Creswell, NC before moving to Cary, NC in 1979 where they lived for over 30 years before moving to Tega Cay, SC.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Edith, Ray, her brother, JoAnn, her sister and her husband of 48 years, Kenneth. Margaret is survived by her brother, Jack White and his Wife and two sons of Florida, son Kenneth C Sallenger Jr. of Tega Cay, SC, daughter Kimberely L. Squier of Cary, NC, three beautiful grandchildren, Devin, Taylor and Benjamin, her brother's children, Zachary and Evan and her pet cat, Stx, all of who were the joy of her life. Margaret made many friends over the years from the Carolinas, to Texas, to South Dakota and she cherished those friendships greatly.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the South Carolina Hospice and Communitive Care for their support and professionalism in her final days.
