Margaret "Peggy" Corinne (Bushway) Ferrell

Margaret Corinne (Bushway) Ferrell, “Peggy”, 72, of Rock Hill, SC, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday August 31, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.  She was preceded in death by her parents James and Dorothy Bushway.

She leaves a lasting legacy to be cherished by her survivors, her husband of 54 years, James Ferrell; daughter Caroline Gibson, husband Brian; son Christopher Ferrell; granddaughter Tarra Hayes, husband Everitt; brothers Brian Bushway, wife Ellen; Duane Bushway, wife Shelli; Alan Bushway, wife Beth; Mark Bushway, wife Cheryl; Steve Bushway, wife Lori; sisters Marie Nelson, husband Ross; Karen Jared, husband Steve; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Outgoing by nature, she relished in spending time with her family and friends and her beloved dog Ginger.  She enjoyed picking up a good book and spend time tending to her garden.  As an early riser, you could find her on the front porch with a cup of coffee and her husband by her side.  She was a very giving person to her family and the community.  Her passion of travel and adventure led her to explore various sites across the United States and abroad.  She was a diehard NASCAR fan to the end.  Most important to her was her family and she will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, mimi, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

Family will receive friends Monday September 6, 2021 from 10:00-11:00am, at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home.  A celebration of life service will follow starting at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to any National Park or Charity of your choice.
