Rock Hill - Marguerite Rose (Peggy) Stanton went home to glory on Saturday, May 14, 2011 after a valiant fight. She passed at Agape Senior Hospice in Rock Hill.
Born October 16, 1928 in the town of Roxbury, NY, she was raised in South Gilboa, NY, where she attended Stamford Central School. She was a devoted mother and wife, living on Long Island, before retiring to Prattsville, NY in 1974. She moved to Apopka, Florida in 2004, where she resided with her daughter and son-in-law. On March 24, 2011 they relocated to Rock Hill, South Carolina where she spent the remaining days of her life in their home.
She is survived by brothers Charlie, Lou and Leo, and sisters Mary and Judy, daughters Bonnie Wilson of Rock Hill, Vickie Train in Colorado and son Michael of Wellington, Florida. She has 5 Grandchild and 2 Great Grandchildren.
