Born in Velka Kopanica, Croatia, Mrs. Amstadt was a daughter of the late Michael Plein and Katherine Bukvaševic Plein. She moved to the United States in 1952. She meet and married her husband, Joseph Amstadt in 1955.
Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Joseph Amstadt; three sons, Walter Amstadt, Robert Amstadt, and Richard Amstadt; one sister, Anna Lindwurm; one brother, Frank Plein; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandson.
Whitesell Funeral Home is serving the family.
