Marion Hilton, Jr.

Fort Mill – Rev. Marion Hilton, Jr., 69, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 21, 2018.

Marion left his legacy behind to his loving wife, Linda; a daughter, Tori; his granddaughter, Noel; son-in-law, Ben. He was also survived by his brother, Danny Hilton; sister, Bobbie Furr; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Childers.

Marion was a retired Baptist Pastor, a devout teacher and faithful minister of the Gospel. He was the author of the “  Life Ambition Series  ” as well as a Life Ambition Coach. Marion was also a missionary, both home and in his travels.

Marion was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who spoiled and loved his three girls unconditionally. Marion was married to the love of his life, Linda, for 41 years and he was the best husband anyone could have prayed for. The moments he looked forward to the most were the times he spent with his family and closest friends, his time in the pulpit and ministering to peoples needs.

Marion loved vacationing with his family at Disney World and at the beach. He loved being with his family no matter where they were as long as they were together.

Marion was a devoted and supportive Daddy who instilled Christian values in his daughter, Tori and finally Marion was the best “Baw-Baw” to his precious granddaughter, Noel, with whom he shared a special bond.

Marion was preceded in death by his parents, Hency and Faye Hilton; and his sons, Todd Gardner and Chuck Gardner.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Glenrock Baptist Church, 1815 N. Dobys Bridge Road, Fort Mill, lead by his friend and pastor, Rev. Gene Flack.

In lieu of flowers, Marion requested donations to be made to Glenrock Baptist Church for the future care of his granddaughter, Noel.
